  1. The role of the Training and Placement Cell is of a facilitator and counsellor for the placement related activities.

  2. The placement facility is available for all the students, who are likely to complete the diploma programme at the end of current academic year.

  3. The students should contact departmental coordinator teachers for all placement related queries.

  4. The students should share their data only with the departmental coordinator teachers or the TPO Cell.

  5. The students will get selected in a company as per the criteria decided by the respective company.

  6. The students should share only correct academic and personal information during the placement process. If any information provided by the student is found to be false, it may lead to cancellation of the placement by the respective industry.

  7. The students are advised to wear the institute uniform and keep the institute Identity Card ready while participating in the campus placement process.

  • Q.1. What is Campus recruitment?
    - Campus recruitment refers to the process whereby employers undertake an organized program of attracting and hiring students who are about to pass from colleges. The objective of campus placement is to identify the talented and qualified students before they complete their education.

    Q.2. When does the campus recruitment begin?
    - Normally, the campus placement season begins in the final year of the programme.

    Q.3. What is the eligibility criteria to register for the campus placements?
    - The eligibility criteria may vary as per the policy of the company visiting for campus placement.

    Q.4. How can I register myself for a particular company's placement process?
    - Once a recruiter's campus plan is confirmed, all final year students will receive notice from the Placement Cell with the detailed Job description ( Job profile/Work Location /Salary Package/mandatory requirement) and then the student can register for that.

    Q.5. What is Aptitude Test?
    a. Consists of Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Numerical / Analytical sections.
    b. Duration of the test varies from Company to Company.
    c. Every company has minimum cut-off marks. (Section-wise and Overall)
    d. Some companies may have negative marking also. e. Those who clear the Aptitude test will go to the next round of the selection process.

    a. GD is conducted to evaluate the students about the basis of knowledge on current affairs, present technology trends, communication skills, leadership qualities and group behavior.
    b. Those who clear the GD will go to the next round of the selection process.

    Q.7. What is HR personal interview?
    - HR personal interviews are conducted by the company’s Human Recourses Department to assess Attitude, Communication, Confidence level, Flexibility and Suitability of the candidate for the respective company culture

    - It is to assess technical knowledge of the students based on their core area of study. In case a student has done any certification course, knowledge in that area will also be evaluated.

    Q.9. Will the results be declared on the same day of the campus placements?
    - Results will be declared on the same day by most of the companies, but few companies might announce the results later.

    Q.10. What are the documents to be carried by the students on the day of campus placements?
    a. College identity card.
    b. Three sets of updated Resume, Photocopies of mark sheets and other certification if any.
    c. 2 recent passport size photographs.
